Twitter is a new kind of social networking site that allows users to update their status during the day.

   Register for a free account remote
   
   Visit Twitter.com and click the button 'Getting started - merge'.

Fill your full name, user name, password and e-Mail address and fill the CAPTCHA. Click on "Create my account".

Log in and get started

After the signing, you must be automatically logged on.

If not, click on "log in" in the upper right menu. You will be brought to your home screen, and you should see an empty box on your screen above. It is your update dialog box. You can fill your status - up to 140 characters - and click "Update". Your status is then displayed in the list of recent tweets.

Follow your friends.

You can add your friends and have always your updates for your home screen as well. Visit your Twitter profile by accessing Twitter.com username for someone else and replace your Twitter username "Username". As the avatar of the user on the upper left side of the page, see a button that said, "follow". Click on it and add to your following list.
