How do I stop Twitter notifications

Twitter has the ability to incoming users of updates to notify via mobile phone or instant messaging programs.

There are times where it is impractical notifications for Twitter. Furthermore, you decide that you want to stop Twitter notifications to a particular user. Fortunately, you can customize the Twitter notification function. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

Instructions

    Close to the Twitter.

Select "Options" from the menu of Twitter.

    Select "Devices".

  • This is where you enter your mobile phone or instant messaging program information.

    Select "Off" in "Device Updates" Drop Down menu.

  • If you want to receive alerts only direct messages, select "Direct Messages."

    Configure the hours in which you don't want to receive updates if you want to stop Twitter notifications for a specific period.

    Go to Twitter page of a user if you want to stop this person just Twitter notifications.

    Click "Device updates" next to the button "continue".

  • Select 'Off' radio button to stop Twitter notifications.
