How do I delete a Green Ribbon in Twitter

In June 2009 the Iranian election results caused users of Twitter HelpIranianElection.com visit and their avatars to show support for the Iranian citizens who thought that the choice was unfair overlays green or green belts.

The band has been added to the image of the avatar and cannot be removed, but can return your old image to your avatar to its original state. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

    The Twitter Web site and log in to your account.

    Click your username at the top of right of the screen.

  • Select from the menu "Settings".
  • 3

    Choose the tab "Profile" and "Change" link next to your avatar.

    Click the "Browse" button and choose your original Twitter avatar on your hard disk, and then click "Open".

    Select the "Save" button at the bottom of your original avatar download.

  • Your photo must remain the same, but the Green Ribbon is now deleted.
