Track a keyword on Twitter

Twitter is an appropriate tool to learn about the habits of Internet users.

You can view discussions or participation in your own on Twitter. You can view the public timeline, trying to find people with similar interests. You can track even a keyword to see what others are saying about a specific topic on Twitter. Level of difficulty: Moderately easy

   Choose the key word or words you want to follow on Twitter.

You can track the keywords as much as you want, but you can enter one of these keywords at a time.

Type "follow the word" where the word is the keyword you want to monitor.

You can use it in the Web interface of Twitter, you instant messaging, your cell phone or even a third-party Twitter interface application such as twhirl type program. If you want to track more than one keyword, you can repeat this process until you have completed all the keywords you want.

Follow your own updates by entering "follow username" where username is your Twitter ID one.

You can follow the updates of other users in this way.

Right now, put you to "Mark" on the interface to obtain a list of all the keywords.

Enter "untrack word" to stop monitoring a specific keyword.
