A very small aperture terminal (VSAT) is a compact satellites and receiving station.
It is primarily used in the transmission of data and the creation of two ways Internet access.
Used

Outdoor unit (ODU)
To the receive and send data from the satellite, a VSAT need an outdoor unit (ODU), consisting of a parabolic antenna generally has a diameter of 3 to 5 metres. The Court must be placed in a high and open space as the roof of a building.
Indoor unit (IDU)
Data received and sent by the ODU passes through a cable to the indoor unit (IDU). The UEA treats data and acts as an intermediary between developing and running the VSAT.
