The is VSAT?

A very small aperture terminal (VSAT) is a compact satellites and receiving station.

It is primarily used in the transmission of data and the creation of two ways Internet access.

    Used
  1. Due to the size, a VSAT satellite Internet service offer for companies, Internet cafes and even houses.
The system sends reliable audio and video data.

Outdoor unit (ODU)
  • To the receive and send data from the satellite, a VSAT need an outdoor unit (ODU), consisting of a parabolic antenna generally has a diameter of 3 to 5 metres.
  • The Court must be placed in a high and open space as the roof of a building.

    Indoor unit (IDU)
  • Data received and sent by the ODU passes through a cable to the indoor unit (IDU).
  • The UEA treats data and acts as an intermediary between developing and running the VSAT.
