Download the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger by going to the home page (see resources below).

Launch the application from Yahoo! Messenger chat.

If you have no icon on your desktop, locate the icon in the application folder.

Type your user name and password and log on.

Find a chat room you want to add to your list of favorites.

You can find lists of chat with access to the Messenger menu. Select the Yahoo! chat menu and click "Join A Room." See listings of rooms in many different categories.

Click the "Chat" in the Messenger menu menu and choose "Favorite rooms."

Hit ' rooms add "to add rooms where you currently, or choose" Manage Favorites, "to modify the list."

Connect your favorite chat room.
